Project First Impact is a detailed plan that is committed to giving the gospel its first voice in the city of Caucel by establishing la Iglesia Bautista de la Comunidad in order that many families can be changed and impacted as they become connected to Christ, His Church, and their Community.

God brought our families together and we are excited about you joining our team so that together we can impact Caucel as we divide the tasks and multiply the successes.
The Bob Yeater Family
Tessa and I have been involved in missions full-time since 2005. We worked in the youth ministry in our home
church for several years and were also junior church leaders at that time. I worked in the HVAC field while
graduating from Mountaineer Baptist College in 2003. In the spring of 2005 the Lord called us
into missions. Shortly thereafter we started deputation and in late 2007 we landed in San Jose,
Costa Rica to start language studies. It was a wonderful opportunity for learning and 'faith building'
that culminated in the salvation of many young Nicaraguan refugees who we worked with on a
weekly basis.In 2009 we made the transition to Merida, Yucatan where we were able to get
valuable training in church planting by joining the team at Peninsula Baptist
Church that was started by Jeff and his parents, Don and Carolyn Carney.
It was here that the Lord opened the door for us to minister in Caucel.
Tessa and I have been married for 13 years and have 3 children.

Elisabeth and I are second generation missionaries. I served
as a youth pastor for several years in Georgia before becoming missionaries to the
youth of Central America. During the past two terms we have partnered with
my parents, Don and Carolyn Carney to plant Peninsula Baptist Church. As a result
of our teamwork we have gained hands-on training in cross-cultural church
planting, outreach and discipleship, leadership training, as well as in youth and
children’s ministry. In January of 2010 the baton of the teen ministry at
Peninsula Baptist Church was placed into national hands. One church has been
established and this church is sending us to Caucel to carry out Project First Impact.”Elisabeth and I are graduates of Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville,
Florida. We have been married for 13 years and have two children.

The impact of
your prayersWill you pray with us for:
- God to open the hearts of the people in Caucel to the message of the Gospel.
- Bob and his family as they begin by using English as a Second Language to make contacts.
- Wisdom to lay out a systematic and comprehensive discipleship program.
- All of the necessary funds to be raised so that we can effectively plant Community Baptist Church.
- God’s leading to purchase the right home in the right location so that it can be transformed into Community Baptist Church.
The impact of your giving
The possibilities are endless. For instance, several churches have made individual gifts to the project. A few individuals have used bakes sales, garage sales, and other fund raisers to give to the project. Likewise, many schools, SS classes, and individuals are pledging to fill up a change cup as they recognize that together everyone accomplishes more. YOUR WORK
This spring we will be purchasing a house in Caucel and we need your help to transform it into a church. Several work teams are currently on the calendar for this year, but the need is great and we are always looking for additional work teams. Can you paint, do masonry work, electric work, tile work, clean, or just serve? See our calendar for available dates.
YOUR MINISTRY
Every day Caucel is growing larger and we are committed to covering every home with several literature drives. Would you like to be part of an outreach ministry that will touch and transform lives?
